Homemade Anti-Aging Recipes
Are anti-aging treatments important? Yes! Should you include them in your skincare routine? Absolutely! But as important as these treatments are, they can empty your wallet pretty quickly. Which means some homemade treatments are perfect! You can make your own anti-aging treatments for at least half the cost of the expensive treatments, using organic ingredients and natural oils, all proven to help fight the anti-aging battle.
Exfoliator
Not just any exfoliator. A blackberry walnut exfoliator. Doesn’t that sound divine? Who doesn’t want blackberries on their face? The smell alone would be wonderful, let alone the anti-aging benefits. Exfoliating is a key step in the anti-aging routine, as it removes the dead layer of skin on your face, allowing other treatments (such as the serum, below) to penetrate your skin and work its magic. Blackberries and walnuts both are fantastic for your skin. They are loaded with vitamins A, C, and E, which reduce and improve signs of aging, and help restore and repair damage to the skin.
Ingredients:
- ½ c walnuts
- ½ c organic blackberries
Directions
Combine walnuts and blackberries in a blender. Mix until a smooth paste is formed. Add some water if needed. Apply a generous amount of paste to moistened skin. Gently massage in a circular motion. Then rinse with tepid water and follow with a gentle cleanser and toner. You’ll have smooth, healthy looking skin that’s ready for a serum!Anti-aging Serum
