Homemade Anti-Aging Recipes

Homemade Anti-Aging Recipes

Are anti-aging treatments important? Yes! Should you include them in your skincare routine? Absolutely! But as important as these treatments are, they can empty your wallet pretty quickly. Which means some homemade treatments are perfect! You can make your own anti-aging treatments for at least half the cost of the expensive treatments, using organic ingredients and natural oils, all proven to help fight the anti-aging battle.

Exfoliator

blackberries in crate

Not just any exfoliator. A blackberry walnut exfoliator. Doesn’t that sound divine? Who doesn’t want blackberries on their face? The smell alone would be wonderful, let alone the anti-aging benefits. Exfoliating is a key step in the anti-aging routine, as it removes the dead layer of skin on your face, allowing other treatments (such as the serum, below) to penetrate your skin and work its magic. Blackberries and walnuts both are fantastic for your skin. They are loaded with vitamins A, C, and E, which reduce and improve signs of aging, and help restore and repair damage to the skin.

walnuts

Ingredients:

  • ½ c walnuts
  • ½ c organic blackberries

Directions

Combine walnuts and blackberries in a blender. Mix until a smooth paste is formed. Add some water if needed. Apply a generous amount of paste to moistened skin. Gently massage in a circular motion. Then rinse with tepid water and follow with a gentle cleanser and toner. You’ll have smooth, healthy looking skin that’s ready for a serum!

Anti-aging Serum

Serums are the best way to keep wrinkles and fine lines at bay on your entire face. When you apply them at night, they spend the time you’re sleeping working on your skin to repair and restore your skin to its youthful glow.

avocado oil

Vitamin E specifically targets and repairs fine lines and wrinkles. Frankincense is an astringent that lifts and tightens skin to help slow aging sings, and helps reduces the appearance of large pores and wrinkles. Carrot seed oil contains antioxidants that stimulate cell growth and repair damaged skin. And lastly, geranium treats acne and reduces inflammation.

yoga poses for better breasts
Yoga Poses for Better Breasts

Underneath all breast tissue is a muscle.  Just like hamstrings or biceps, chest muscles need to be worked and exercised in order to hold their firmness and shape.  Unfortunately, weak chest muscles and outside influences like gravity and breastfeeding, along with significant weight gain or weight loss, can cause breasts to lose shape and sag.
