An Esthetician’s Secret to Natural, Healthy Skin
We all know our skin’s amazing capability to rebuild and heal. Our skin rebuilds itself based on what we eat and what products we apply on our skin. If we are putting products full of preservatives and unhealthy ingredients, then our skin deteriorates revealing problematic and prematurely aged skin.
Esthetician's Ingredients for Healthy Skin
So what ingredients does an esthetician use? The best products to put on your skin all come from nature. Nature provides all of the essentials we need for healthy skin. What I love most about my top 5 all natural skincare essentials is that you can easily find them in your pantry or local grocery store! I chose these
skin care essentials based on my personal experience and the advantages and positive changes they’ve made in my own skin.
Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is one of my favorite ingredients. The aloe plant is part of the cactus family and is super easy to care for. The benefits of Aloe Vera are endless, as it can be used topically or ingested! Aloe is best known for healing burns from the sun, but did you know it also accelerates skin’s ability to repair itself? How awesome is that! Aloe has antibacterial properties, packed with antioxidants, enzymes and contains essential amino acids. Aloe Vera is easy to grow in your own home and has so much to offer. I love that Aloe is versatile and I’ve used it for more than just skincare. It can even be put on your lashes or brows to promote growth while moisturizing the delicate skin in those areas of the face.
Turmeric
Turmeric is my number one favorite ingredient to add into a face mask. Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties that calms and reduces redness. If you suffer from constant breakouts and acne, adding turmeric into your skin routine will not only reduce acne scarring but its natural antiseptic properties will kill bacteria and help rid of blackheads. When turmeric is added to a 10 minute mask treatment you’re going to see clean, youthful, glowing skin.
Organic Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is my saving grace. I love that it is versatile and can be used to heal skin, as a moisturizer, and is very effective at removing makeup. The options are endless when it comes to coconut oil and skincare. Coconut oil has an amazing effect on the skin when used topically and when eaten. I like to use coconut oil topically to assist my skin in rebuilding damaged tissue, such as stretch marks or scars. Coconut oil absorbs easily into the skin as it rebuilds and nourishes new skin cells. I like using coconut oil in place of lotion, because it gives my skin a smooth glow while promoting skin elasticity.
Filtered Alkaline Water
We all know it is important to drink water. But do you really understand how important it is? Water is life and our skin is a living, breathing organ that not only thrives when hydrated internally, but depends on water intake in order to sustain itself. It’s important to drink alkaline water to balance the pH of our skin. Balanced skin is healthy skin. Common signs of dehydration are: fine lines around the eyes and lips, chapped lips, obvious dryness, and itchy skin. Our skin needs water to not only regenerate new skin cells, but to cleanse and excrete any toxins built up in the body.
Organic Local Olive Oil
Olive oil has many uses and can be found in almost every kitchen. I like using organic local Olive Oil with no added preservatives. Olive oil contains Vitamins A and E, which encourages cell repair and renewal. It's fresh, potent, and I don’t have to worry about it being shipped across the country in various temperatures and unsure of how old it really is. I like to use olive oil as a spot treatment to hydrate and repair my skin and hands when they’re feeling dry and sensitive.

Underneath all breast tissue is a muscle. Just like hamstrings or biceps, chest muscles need to be worked and exercised in order to hold their firmness and shape. Unfortunately, weak chest muscles and outside influences like gravity and breastfeeding, along with significant weight gain or weight loss, can cause breasts to lose shape and sag. Strengthening your chest muscles by working them daily can lead to perkier, firmer, and even larger breasts.
